Effective 5/4/2021, MAPFRE has partnered with a third party vendor, TRG to make automated outbound courtesy calls to Massachusetts Automobile and Homeowners customers who are in pending cancellation for non-payment of premium. This courtesy call will be made one to four days in advance of the pending cancel date. When a call is answered, the insured will hear an automated message (available in both English and Spanish), explaining their options to pay:
- Online at mapfreinsurance.com;
- Using MAPFRE’s automated Interactive Voice Response system; or
- Choose to be transferred to a Contact Center representative.
If a call goes to voicemail, a message will be left with directions on how to pay the cancellation. Please be sure to contact the billing department at MAPFRE Insurance directly (1-800-949-9000) to verify they have your correct phone number on file.
Our Agency will no longer be conducting phone calls or mailings to clients directly in regards to non-payment cancellations since MAPFRE will now be taking on this courtesy.
